Warranty Information

Customer satisfaction is the cornerstone of our business.

All instruments exchanged/overhauled have a limited warranty period of one (1) year. Repairs include a 90-day limited warranty. A shelf life limit of six (6) months applies to all gyro products. Our warranty does not cover manifold pressure indicators or air-driven gyros which have been contaminated by external sources.

If a unit is repaired or replaced during the warranty period it shall retain only unused portion of the original warranty. Repair or replacement of a defective unit pursuant to this warranty shall be made by Naylor’s Instrument Service, provided the unit is returned and the malfunction is verified.

It is the customer's repsonsibility when returning an instrument for warranty consideration to advise:

Date of Installation
Date of Failure
Nature of Failure
Hours of Usage

Cost of transportation, removal and reinstallation are excluded.

Exchange Program & Overhaul Service

The customer is responsible for returning a repairable core unit. Timely return of the exchange instrument is expected and is essential to the working of the exchange program. Each exchange transaction requires the return of a repairable unit bearing the exact same part number and a legible nameplate. If the returned unit is not repairable, the customer is notified and billed for an outright sale or replacement of the initial exchange unit.

Naylor’s Instrument’s overhaul services can be utilized if an exchange unit is unavailable or the customer prefers to retain the original unit. A unit received for overhaul is fully reconditioned and all damaged or worn parts are replaced with authorized parts. Naylor’s Instrument Service strives to keep turn-around time to a minimum. If the correct part is not readily available and a delay is expected, the customer will be notified immediately.
